Description of problem:
When attempting to live attach an IDE disk oVirt prompts a popup error message:
"Cannot attach Virtual Machine Disk. Guest OS version is not supported."(see image)
according to docs ( http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/Hotadd_pci_devices#Add_a_disk )
IDE disks are not hotpluggable so there isn't any os version that do supports this action.

1.hotplug IDE disk

Actual results:
misleading message 

Expected results:
message should be something like:
Cannot attach Virtual Machine Disk,IDE disks do not support hotplug

There is no error message at all

So either the test described above if different than what you tried, or one of you is using a build he did not intend to.
Moving back to ON_QA to verify.

Ori - can you please supply the exact steps to reproduce so we can see if your scenario and Idan's are equivalent?

steps:have an ide floating disk and a vm
- run the vm
- while up, attach the ide disk

oVirt 3.6.0 has been released on November 4th, 2015 and should fix this issue.
If problems still persist, please open a new BZ and reference this one.
