Current images are quite big, if we consider that they are downloading incredible amount amount of packages - and what is most important - are nearly useless. The online install took 4 hours:(

I have been on flock in Prague and have heard the reason why standard images are abandoned, and I deeply agree. However, from several points of view like:
 - basic user who wants to try an install
 - user who have several virtual machines, and wonts offline install tool
 - need of quick setup of some machine


In all those cases the online installation fails.

What I would like to see are really minimal isos  of mayor spins:
 - mate
 - gnome3
 - kde
 - xfce
 - lxde
 - fluxbox
 - openbox
 - whatever :)

Thsoe isoso should have
  - network access
  - basic web access
  - ssh
  - window manager
  - terminal
  - everything else can be added later


Once this iso is liveused/installed then it is no issue to install anything else.
Especially tiny fluxbox/openbox isos may really big meaning here.

During first run  maybe anaconda can popup again and ask if I wont to install soemthing more....


The complete removal of offline spines have made life really hard for anybody *except* already existing and continuously updating  user.

Proposed as a Blocker for 21-alpha by Fedora user jvanek using the blocker tracking app because:

 The  release can not be fully tested without meaningful  images.

Not sure i really understand your question. reassigning to teh distribution. I think you need to provide clearer information about what issues you have and what you actually want fixed. You do not mention what type of images you are talking about or what you want.

Oh - which image I used - There is some image? I couldnot found and colegue of mine pointed me to  - http://mirrors.nic.cz/fedora/linux/development/21/x86_64/os/images/boot.iso 

He found it by browsing the individual trgetsin mirror lists.

Is there some better place with asome f21 image?

Rejected as an Alpha blocker for this moment. We're not really sure what you're asking for, Jiri. What are 'standard images'? Are you talking about boot.iso, DVD, Live, Spins, something else?

Please be very specific and explain the problem in detail and we can re-evaluate. Thanks.

I had an chat with Kamil, and he explained me that waiting for *any* (at least Live) iso is already blocker. Closing as "duplicate". Sorry for noise.

Please do not abandon offline install  media at least for workstation :)

the Workstation Working group decided that they do not want an install DVD, the two choices will be a boot.iso or livedvd. you will need to take it up with the working group.
