Created attachment 928897 [details]
Dmesg of machine with both monitors working.

Description of problem:
After updating the kernel from kernel-3.14.9-200.fc20.x86_64 to kernel-3.15.8-200.fc20.x86_64, my second monitor never awakes from sleep. I can see the second monitor in the Displays control panel. If I boot back into 3.14.9-200, the display begins working properly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kernel-3.15.10-200.fc20.x86_64

How reproducible:
On my system, simply booting into 3.15.8-200 causes the display issue.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Reboot
2. Select kernel 3.15.8-200

Actual results:
Primary monitor wakes, secondary monitor stays asleep.

Expected results:
Both monitors should wake.

Additional info:
I've found the problem also occurs in kernel-3.15.10-200.fc20.x86_64.

Comment 2 David Nedrow 2014-08-20 18:07:31 UTC
Note that the second monitor does not wake during the boot sequence, or after X11 has started, when running kernel-3.15.8-200.fc20.x86_64 or kernel-3.15.10-200.fc20.x86_64.

*********** MASS BUG UPDATE **************

We apologize for the inconvenience. There is a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 20 kernel bugs.

Fedora 20 has now been rebased to 3.17.2-200.fc20. Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel.

If you have moved on to Fedora 21, and are still experiencing this issue, please change the version to Fedora 21.

If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.
