Description of problem:

Par2cmdline from http://www.chuchusoft.com/par2_tbb/ has not been updated since 20100203. It was based on http://sourceforge.net/projects/parchive/ which is now defunct.

 New development is occurring at https://github.com/BlackIkeEagle/par2cmdline with the latest commit being earlier this year.

I'm aware of this fork and I'm following its development, but unless https://github.com/BlackIkeEagle/par2cmdline/issues/27 (TBB support) is implemented I refuse to switch to this fork otherwise we'll regress performance-wise

From what I saw on chuchusoft, there has not been updates since 20100203 which is pretty old.

I will try the github version and see if that fixes my issues.

I searched for a newer version of par2cmdline after fighting with a 2.1 G archive that wouldn't repair.  The Fedora par2cmdline just states that it is repairing the files and then leaves a group of *.rar.1 files instead of repaired files.

The Github version of par2cmdline didn't have any issues and fixed the files.

I didn't find the speed issues to be a problem on my dual core computer to repair 24 rar parts.
