Description andrew 2000-05-09 19:47:59 UTC
The logrotate script compresses all files in "/var/log/junkbuster/*" every
week.

Therefore, logrotate thinks that previous logfiles need rotating.

Result: exponential growth in number of files in /var/log/junkbuster.

I just had to delete 68000 useless files...

You get a zillion files named "*.1.gz.1.gz.2.gz.1.gz.3.gz...."

Ughhh. Bug #9058 reported this before, and it *was* patched. I have now built
it, you should see it pop up in rawhide shortly. Thanks forthe heads up.
