Description Jason McDonald 2014-09-03 04:56:37 UTC
Description of problem:
If I change the component of a bug and then click the "Show other bugs" link next to the Component field, Bugzilla searches for bugs in the original component(s) rather than the newly selected one.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.4.5024

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Scroll up and hover over the "Show other bugs" link, noting the value of the component parameter in the link (Creating/Changing Bugs).
2. Click on a different component
3. Hover over the "Show other bugs" link again.

Actual results:
The component in the link is still the original one.

Expected results:
The component in the link matches the currently selected component.

Additional info:
For products that allow multiple components to be selected, the "Show other bugs" link should include all of the selected components. That works if the bug already has multiple components when it it viewed, but again the link doesn't change as the selected components change.

In preparation for entering maintenance mode we are closing bugs that are unlikely to be scheduled in maintenance sprints.
