sent fix upstream: https://www.redhat.com/archives/virt-tools-list/2014-September/msg00108.html I can reproduce this issue with package: virt-manager-0.10.0-20.el7.noarch then try to verify with new build: virt-manager-1.1.0-3.el7.noarch steps: 1. Launch virt-manager, adding a sound device to a guest.( click Edit---->Virtual Machine Details---->Add Hardware--->Sound), in the support sound device list: ac97, ich6, ich9 selected ich9 to add to the guest. 2. Start the guest and login the guest to check. # lspci 00:04.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03) and can use this sound device to listen some music. since "ich9" has been added to sound device list and it works well in the guest, move this bug from ON_QA to VERIFIED. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
