Description Rex Dieter 2014-09-12 17:34:16 UTC
Just installed F21 alpha TC7, and my laptop didn't have the touchpad applet enabled

Comment 1 Kevin Kofler 2014-09-12 18:15:46 UTC
Is that a bug to begin with? The applet is an optional feature, it shouldn't be required for the functionality to work. (Even the automatic disabling while typing is implemented in a GUI-less kded4 service, unlike in Synaptiks (which we never shipped in Fedora) where they did that in the systray applet.) So I'm not convinced we even want the applet by default.

(What you'd use the applet for is manually disabling the touchpad.)

Comment 3 Rex Dieter 2014-09-12 19:25:00 UTC
OK, let's go with WONTFIX
