Does this persist in FC3 and later releases? Sorry for the late answer - I needed to get around to setting up a new installation to check for this (still running FC2 on the initial machine). Yes, I still see this in FC3 + current updates. It's still exactly as described in the original report. The interface eth1 is up, but s-c-n doesn't let me configure it. Can you attach the output of 'lsusb -v'? Created attachment 119247 [details]
Output from "lsusb -v"
This is from the machine from the original bug report. I assume you need the
info about the ADSL modem, and the rest may be irrelevant (like my old *cough*
kernel). I could provide output from the newly set up machine if it's of any
more value, but you'd need to give me a few days. ;-)
Apologies about the delay. We don't have this hardware in house. Does this persist on F7 or similar? kudzu and system-config-network have changed dramatically since then. The information we've requested above is required in order to review this problem report further and diagnose/fix the issue if it is still present. Since there have not been any updates to the report since thirty (30) days or more since we requested additional information, we're assuming the problem is either no longer present in the current Fedora release, or that there is no longer any interest in tracking the problem. Setting status to "INSUFFICIENT_DATA". If you still experience this problem after updating to our latest Fedora release and can provide the information previously requested, please feel free to reopen the bug report. Thank you in advance. |
