Description of problem:
sometimes when adding a host by ip, with a username manually specified (wheel,adm,..), the process fails with following journal error:
Sep 16 12:58:51 todoleza-cockpit cockpit-ws[1734]: 172.16.36.18: couldn't authenticate: ssh_userauth_password: Out of memory

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. fill in host ip
2. uncheck use current credentials
3. fill in user & password

Actual results:
Will add server to dashboard:
Address: 	172.16.36.18
Fingerprint: 	30:cb:16:69:b5:88:a1:16:82:41:10:a3:a4:65:d4:4b

    Synchronize administrator fedora	
    Failed to change user groups via /usr/sbin/usermod: Failed to execute child process "/usr/sbin/usermod" (Permission denied)

in the server list: Internal error

Expected results:
host was added / clearly refused to be added
