Previously, the KornShell became unresponsive when setting a variable from a command that produced more than 120 k and was then piped. A patch has been applied to fix this bug, and KornShell now executes commands correctly.

This bug has been copied from bug #1138751 and has been proposed
to be backported to 6.5 z-stream (EUS).

I confirm the correction under qa corrects sfdc 01231394.

I noticed this problem in customer portal 01231394 also
happens in fedora 20, but I believe a backport of the
correction here should be added there.
