Description of problem:

I dropped kernel 2.6.1-65 onto my Dell Inspiron 5150, and the 
tapping the trackpad to make a left mouse click is no longer 
working. Reverting to a 2.4 kernel makes it work again.

The device, according to XF86Config is a PS/2 type.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

kernel 2.6.1-65

How reproducible:

Always - boot, attempt to use the trackpad by tapping on it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot
2. Start X
3. Tap on the trackpad
  
Actual results:

No left mouse button event.

Expected results:

A left mouse button event.

I suspect that this might be the same thing as bug 99351.
