Please note that this seems to be an issue in JBDS 8 itself. This is not an issue in the editor. Everything works fine when the following system property is set. # Don't use GTK 3 export SWT_GTK3=0 Can we document this? I have set this as a note in JBoss Central topic where Eclipse is first started [1]. Moving this to ON_QA.
