Description Michael Catanzaro 2014-10-10 16:04:47 UTC
Description of problem:
After a fresh install of Fedora 21 Alpha Workstation, I clicked the refresh button in the updates page to check for updates. The spinner ran for about a minute, then Software reported that my computer was up-to-date, which was such an unbelievable lie than I ran pkmon and saw that PackageKit was in fact downloading updates at that very moment. I left Software open until the download finished ten minutes later, whereupon Software crashed immediately after displaying a notification about new updates.
