Description of problem:

ThinP implementation not present in current included version.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

RHS 3.0 Denali
Gluster-Deploy-0.4.99 (inside /usr/lib/glusterfs/.unsupported/..)

How reproducible:

Install Denali, Gluster-Deploy-0.4.99 is in there.
Setup bricks and a RHS volume, it doesn't create a ThinPool

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install 2 Denali instances
2.Create bricks and a RHS Vol using /usr/lib/glusterfs/.unsupported/Gluster-Deploy
3. Notice that it doesn't create a thinpool inside LVM

Actual results:

Doesn't create a thinpool, therefore no snapshotting possible

Expected results:

Should create a thinpool whilst setting up the bricks

Additional info:

Paul Cuzner has created a newer version which actually has this capability.
Please consider to have the tool included as supported since it seems to be used massively.

The formatbrick.sh script used by the deploy tool needs to be reviewed to ensure it adheres to the latest recommendations from Manoj (perf team), for LVM and mkfs configuration steps.

This RFE should be closed. The gluster-deploy project has been superseded by gdeploy
