I forgot to mention the versions. this is a fully updated F21 as of 2014.10.18.

in case this is more of a mesa problem:

Created attachment 948121 [details] screen cap of panic message When I wanted to Alt+Tab out of a fullscreen application which was running on my nvidia card with the nouveau driver, the kernel paniced (Mind, this is a dual gpu laptop). I'll attach a jpg with the panic screen (sorry for the quality) and my lshw output. do you need any further information?
