Description of problem:
Groovy will be updated to version 2.x in near future. spock is currently compiled against groovy 1.8.x. Upstream also supports compiling against groovy 2.x. Spock should be compiled against latest version of Groovy.

Fixed in spock-0.7-0.5.groovy.2.0

I believe that this bug is fixed in spock-0.7-0.5.groovy.2.0,
which is available in Fedora Rawhide, so I am closing this bug now.
