Description Paulo Andrade 2014-10-21 18:26:51 UTC
I have been told these system calls are available since
kernel 2.6.37, but are not documented in rhel 7.x, nor
fedora 20.
The (fanotify) man pages are available in rawhide.

Comment 2 Jan Chaloupka 2014-10-22 08:38:12 UTC
Hello Paulo,

going through the man-pages in rawhide, there are 3 man-pages.

man-pages-3.75]$ find . -iname *fanotify*
./man7/fanotify.7
./man2/fanotify_init.2
./man2/fanotify_mark.2

Can you confirm that these are the man mapes you are referring to? Are there other man pages missing in RHEL7?

Thank you for filling this bugzilla. There is still time to put them into rhel7 via man-pages-overrides package.

Hi Jan!

Correct, these are the 3 man pages missing on RHEL7.
