Description of problem:

Using KDE as desktop environment
Unable to activate ethernet device using network configuration gui.
when launching the interface an unhandled exception error is produced
crashing the interface and then exiting.

How reproducible:
Always, when launching the network configuration tool via KDE menu, or
launching via shell command "redhat-config-network"

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Network from KDE menu
2. Launch redhat-config-network from shell
3.
  
Actual results: Activate eth0 via network config

change in /etc/sysconfig/network:
CURRENT_PROFILE=default

and all should be ok.

Red Hat Linux and Red Hat Powertools are currently no longer supported by Red
Hat, Inc. In an effort to clean up bugzilla, we are closing all bugs in MODIFIED
state for these products.

However, we do want to make sure that nothing important slips through the
cracks. If, in fact, these issues are not resolved in a current Fedora Core
