Background: I unplugged a USB SATA hard drive from my computer, and this triggered the SELinux denial. This hard drive was previously part of a software RAID1 from another computer. SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/mdadm from 'create' accesses on the blk_file . ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests ************************** If you believe that mdadm should be allowed create access on the blk_file by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
