*** Bug 1157209 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I talked to Rui and users with hidpi resolutions with scale factor big enough can be affected by this bug. Which makes this a bit less rare. Update which should fixes this problem will land about Monday [0]. I'm +1 for blocker now. Created attachment 951757 [details] That's all what can be seen from gnome-initial-setup Description of problem: I installed Fedora 21 (from Live-Workstation Beta RC2) in basic graphical mode. Final system with my monitor has maximal resolution 800x600. With this resolution gnome-initial-can't be used (you can't move with the window and Done button or some of the other stuff aren't visible) - take a look on attached screenshot. If this happens to someone who didn't create user during installation the user can't be created then. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-initial-setup-3.14.1-1.fc21.x86_64 How reproducible: You probably have to have the right combination of graphical card and monitor to have small resolution in nomodeset Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
