Description f.j.smans 2004-02-16 20:52:00 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET
CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)

Description of problem:
To be able to print from windows via samba to a "cups" printer i
needed to edit both the mime.convs and mime.types files by removing
the comment character for the application/octet-stream.

Everytime when in do a redhat or now fedora update these files seem
to be overwritten by new default ones.
Everytime i do an update i need to edit these files again.

Would it be possible to have the next fedora update to take this in
account.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
fedora 1

How reproducible:
Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. every update
2.
3.

Don't do that -- instead set the queue type to be raw.
