typescript with backtrace
backtrace shows a SEGFAULT. This occurs when I use a certain wifi dongle.

lsusb -v listing
The dongle resulting in the backtrace is an Engenius EUB9603H. This attachment is the lsusb -v listing under FC20. The "nmcli d wifi list" command works fine with NetworkManager-0.9.9.0-46.git20131003.fc20.x86_64.
I cannot reproduce with upstream master. This is most probably fixed upstream by 45358f5 cli: fix crash in `nmcli device wifi` with multiple wifi devices (bgo #734466 Sorry, I don't seem to have access to bug 734466. 45358f5 is not a valid id when I try to plug it into https://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=nmcli . I'll watch for a new version of Network Manager on koji. Created attachment 953499 [details]

NetworkManager-0.9.10.0-13.git20140704.fc21 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 21. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/NetworkManager-0.9.10.0-13.git20140704.fc21 Works for me in my custom build. Thanks. Package NetworkManager-0.9.10.0-13.git20140704.fc21: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 21 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing NetworkManager-0.9.10.0-13.git20140704.fc21' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2014-14447/NetworkManager-0.9.10.0-13.git20140704.fc21 then log in and leave karma (feedback). I updated to the new package version NetworkManager-0.9.10.0-13.git20140704.fc21 yesterday. On the next reboot my network connection vanished after some minutes. Since then I was unable to connect to any device except in my local network (router). I could not ping popular websites (domain names) or DNS server (IP addresses). To reconnect again I had to delete the connection in NetworkManager and recreate/reconfigure it. I am connected via LAN (ethernet cable) to a router. I have manually set the connections DNS server (IPv4) to my routers IP address. I am running NetworkManager under GNOME (not nmcli). Feel free to create a new bug report or ask for more info. Didn't exactly know what to do. This comment on bodhi was mine (sorry, a bit unspecific, details are above: This update disconnects me from the internet. No connections possible any more except to my router. NetworkManager-0.9.10.0-13.git20140704.fc21 has been pushed to the Fedora 21 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
