Hi Tahlia, The History and Reports section has been removed from the 3.5 Installation Guide and moved to the Customer Portal. Please assess if any changes need to made there (ask Lucy). Please also assess if this bug needs to backported for 3.4. A note needs to be added for Self-Hosted Engine. Title: Installing and Configuring the History Database and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager Reports Describe the issue: The mentioned example in step 3 is wrong. If rhevm-reports and rhevm-dwh are installed before that than it will be "Configure" instead of "Install". This is the actual result after step 1 and 2 are done: --== PRODUCT OPTIONS ==-- Configure Reports on this host (Yes, No) [Yes]: Configure Data Warehouse on this host (Yes, No) [Yes]: Suggestions for improvement: Either change "Install" to "Configure" or remove steps 1 and 2. Additional information: Another issue is if one is using Self-Hosted Engine the heartbeat on the hypervisors will reboot RHEVM because during the setup of the reports ovirt-engine is stopped. A note can be added in the documentation in this case that user needs to schedule a maintenance with "hosted-engine --set-maintenance --mode=global".
