Description Jiri Eischmann 2014-11-05 16:36:21 UTC
I've noticed that DNF doesn't have the "remove" command in the last version. There is only "remove" alias to run erase and remove is marked as deprecated in the documentation.

I'd like to propose that remove is added back to autocompletation. The lack of autocompletation support is currently the bigger harm to the user experience done by the change.

I would even suggest to reverse the change and pick "remove" instead because it's by far more used by users and stated in documentation and tutorials: http://www.googlefight.com/index.php?lang=en_GB&word1=yum+remove&word2=yum+erase

There should be one reference command that will be used in guides. The autocompletion should be able to handle alias commands so you can file RFE bug for that too.

Change from 'erase' back to 'remove' will be considered.
