Description of problem:
When glusterd is down in all the nodes of the cluster, passive check for ctdb,nfs,shd , quota and smb does not work. The status of these services remain the same state before glusterd was down.

when glusterd is down, code which is present as of now does not check for the services nfs,shd,quota,ctdb and smb.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install nagios on RHS nodes.
2. Run discovery.py script.
3. Stop glusterd on all the nodes in a cluster.

Actual results:
status of nfs,shd,ctdb,smb does not get updated.

Expected results:
status of nfs,shd,ctdb,smb and quota should be shown as "UNKOWN" with status information as "UNKNOWN: Status could not be determined as glusterd is not running".

The services dependant on glusterd should not be checked
when glusterd is down (which is the way it works right now and that's expected)

What needs to be addressed is : 
The e-mail notification for glusterd being down should inform the user that glusterd being down means that status for services like nfs, shd etc. cannot be checked at the moment. This is very crucial, considering most of the customers will be looking forward for a precise information about notifications.

Moving this to 3.1.1 as custom Nagios templates require some amount of work

Thank you for the bug report. However, closing this as the bug is filed against gluster nagios monitoring for which no further new development is being undertaken.
