Use the following template to for the 'fedpkg update' request to submit an update for this issue as it contains the top-level parent bug(s) as well as this tracking bug. This will ensure that all associated bugs get updated when new packages are pushed to stable. ===== # bugfix, security, enhancement, newpackage (required) type=security # testing, stable request=testing # Bug numbers: 1234,9876 bugs=1166064,1166098 # Description of your update notes=Security fix for CVE-2012-6662 # Enable request automation based on the stable/unstable karma thresholds autokarma=True stable_karma=3 unstable_karma=-3 # Automatically close bugs when this marked as stable close_bugs=True # Suggest that users restart after update suggest_reboot=False ====== Additionally, you may opt to use the bodhi update submission link instead: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/new/?type_=security&bugs=1166064,1166098 The only version of DL (so far) with builds in EPEL or Fedora is DL 0.13. The embedded jQuery version in DL 0.13 appears to be jQuery 1.11.0, so it's likely that no published RPMs of DL are vulnerable to either: CVE-2010-5312 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1166041 (fixed in jQuery 1.10.0) CVE-2012-6662 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1166064 (fixed in jQuery 1.10.0) This is just an initial assessment; I'll double check and close this bug as not affected once I can take a closer look. |
