Description Murray McAllister 2014-12-01 02:55:16 UTC
The following flaw was reported in MantisBT:

"The unattended upgrade script retrieved DB connection settings from POST parameters, allowing an attacker to get the script to connect to their host with the current DB config credentials."

The original post notes this script should be deleted in Production environments. Refer to https://mantisbt.org/docs/master-1.2.x/en/administration_guide/admin.install.postcommon.html for details.

This issue affects versions less than and equal to 1.1.0a3, and less than and equal to 1.2.17. It is due to be fixed in 1.2.18.
