Description of problem:

if nfs3 and/or nfs2 disabled showmount will through RPC error ()

clnt_create: RPC: Program not registered

Expected results:
show the list of the exported directories or warning message that NFS <>4 should be configured 

Additional info:
SteveD ( the maintainer of the package) suggested to file a bug report to update the "man" page. Which will greatly help since the error message is anything but usefull.

Closing this WONT_FIX.
I talked to Steve and given where RHEL6 is, the fact this is already fairly well known problem and documented in our kbase for example https://access.redhat.com/solutions/711963
