Additional info:

In order for multi-function device to work properly the ptal device
must be used by CUPS instead of the regular usb printer device. This
means hpoj should startup before CUPS.

As shipped this should work already. The hpoj initscript should start
at 54.

What does 'rpm -V hpoj' say?

Comment 2 Tim Waugh 2004-03-01 17:21:09 UTC
Oh, never mind, I found the problem -- the init script is a special
file we create in the spec file, rather than what you'd get from 'make
install'.

FYI this same problem appears in FC1.
