Description Frank Ch. Eigler 2014-12-11 01:48:28 UTC
For a PAPI client like pcp-pmda-papi, it is undesirable to drag
in the whole papi suite of tools / docs, just to be able to run
a papi-based binary.  Please consider packaging the %{_libdir}
bits into a bare papi-libs subpackage, which should have no
further dependencies.

Comment 1 William Cohen 2014-12-18 22:08:31 UTC
Have split the shared libraries into the papi-libs subpackage and make the main "papi" package dependent on this. The main papi package wasn't particular big before but now even less space is required. This might be useful in the cases were minimal sized images are require (containers and guest vm).
