Have split the shared libraries into the papi-libs subpackage and make the main "papi" package dependent on this. The main papi package wasn't particular big before but now even less space is required. This might be useful in the cases were minimal sized images are require (containers and guest vm). |
For a PAPI client like pcp-pmda-papi, it is undesirable to drag in the whole papi suite of tools / docs, just to be able to run a papi-based binary. Please consider packaging the %{_libdir} bits into a bare papi-libs subpackage, which should have no further dependencies.
