this is a bug in rp-pppoe, which should be fixed please try 3.5-11 in rawhide, it should fix this problem |
From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040115 Description of problem: /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ispname should be device name? dsl doesn't work properly until ifcfg-ispname is renamed to ifcfg-ppp0 renaming allows normal connections to the internet. In RH9 the file was named ifcfg-ppp0. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install FC2-test1 2. Try to use Network Device configurator to setup dsl 3. Doesn't work Additional info:
