Description Matthias Clasen 2014-12-15 19:46:38 UTC
We are planning a desktop rebase to GNOME 3.14.x in 7.2. The newer evolution-data-server version is required for gnome-contacts and folks.

Comment 2 Milan Crha 2014-12-22 11:06:07 UTC
Bug summary says 3.12.8, but the current stable version is 3.12.9. I do not know when exactly this will be done, thus wouldn't it be better to pick the most recent version from the time the rebase will be done? I know of changes between 3.12.8 and 3.12.9 which are valuable, including IMAPx. There is a chance there will be done more changes in this way. The same applies to bug 1174415, bug 1174417, bug 1174419 and eventually bug 1174541.

Comment 7 Milan Crha 2015-07-24 11:59:31 UTC
There was found a regression upstream, that 3.12.11 removed [GMail] folder from the folder list on the folder list refresh, for which I backported upstream fixes from these bugs:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=746828
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=751329

Steps to reproduce:
a) configure a GMail account directly in the evolution
b) once it finishes the refresh of the account after start, right-click
the account name in the folder tree and choose 'Refresh'
c) once the refresh is done, the '[GMail]' folder, with its subfolders,
is removed from the UI, while it should stay there
