We are planning a desktop rebase to GNOME 3.14.x in 7.2. evolution-data-server is needed for the desktop rebase and evolution-mapi should be kept in sync.

MAPI backend failed to load, probably because samba rebase - bz#1196140

Right. The problem is with OpenChange, it needs to be updated (new patch added for new samba) and rebuild against the latest samba. I filled bug #1238537 for this.
