This bug broke most of our patch management scenario, and we're on RHEL5, which doesn't support Satellite 5.7. (In reply to W.C. Epperson from comment #6) > Any chance of the bugfix getting backported to Satellite 5.6? Hello, so far I know spacecmd wasn't released and supported for Satellite 5.6, so I'm afraid, there's nothing to backport. Please, make sure with Red Hat Support the statement is correct. (In reply to Tomas Lestach from comment #7) > (In reply to W.C. Please, make sure with Red > Hat Support the statement is correct. Agreed. Spacecmd was released with Satellite 5.7 and is tested and supported for usage against 5.7 only. Usage of either Spacewalk's spacecmd, or the Satellite 5.7 spacecmd tooling with older versions of Satellite remain unsupported. We of course continue to support the Satellite APIs, independent of Satellite versions, should you find a bug in the server side APIs. Spacecmd interacts a LOT with the APIs. Cliff Thanks, Tomas and Clifford. I can see that you're correct and we missed this issue WRT the 5.7 update. I'm working with grabbing errata labels from the gui and feeding them to a modification of our update script for now. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
