Description upbeatvermin 2015-01-08 20:19:56 UTC
Description of problem:
after installation of 3rd party repos, apper then cannot install from these new repos - it asks for authorisation, then restarts the process, which results in asking for authorisation again. this cycle is unending.

the same also happens with the RPMfusion repos.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0.8.2

How reproducible:
every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install flash yum package from get.adobe.com/flashplayer
2. open apper and install the flash package.
3.

Actual results:
a cycle of dependency checks and authorisation requests

Expected results:
successful installation of packages

Additional info:
using Fedora 21 Jam-KDE spin, installed from live disc then updated - no other software installed except the repos in question.

Looks like GPG key import needs fixing in PackageKit-hif. (Do we need to implement the missing key import method after all? It looks like the automatic import is not working.)

This is probably the same issue as in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1185674 where PackageKit crashes when dealing with packages that it doesn't have a GPG key for.
