Hi Santiago, this is probably caused by size of your screen. If there is not enough room for evince to be placed on a half of screen then it is not placed there (it doesn't work on my current display too which has 1280x1024 pixels). Evince doesn't shrink below certain size. What size is your display? Regards Marek Hi Marek, I have two screens. They have 1366x768 pixels each. Regards Santiago It seems that evince has minimal width of ~770 pixels (if minimize and maximize buttons are enabled). So it needs display with at least 1540 pixels width.
