I've pushed this to rawhide and f24.

The tests for Python 2 are not running (they are not collected):

Ran 0 tests in 0.000s

No idea why is that.

Also, this fails on arm.

    OverflowError: Python int too large to convert to C long

Volker, do you think we should try to fix this with upstream or just disbale this on arm for now?

There's a new 1.5.14 release that incorporates the fix; maybe just bump to that?

Fixed in version 1.5.15 [0].

Will provide a patch.
