This bug is created as a clone of upstream ticket:

The current ldclt on master fails to connect to the server via SSL since the server side disables SSLv3 by default.

Verification steps:
Run ldclt with secure mode.
If the operation (e.g., search) works over SSL/TLS, the fix is verified.
