Description Peter Hutterer 2015-01-27 04:58:40 UTC
Description of problem:
The Lenovo X1 Carbon 3rd touchpad has physical buttons again for the trackstick (like the touchpads before the *40 series). Alas, those buttons are wired up to the touchpad device and are interpreted as scroll buttons by the synaptics driver.

Comment 2 Peter Hutterer 2015-03-17 21:18:48 UTC
Closing as WONTFIX. The latest iteration of the kernel patches makes changes to the xorg synaptics driver unnecessary. Once Bug 118611 is in the kernel, the touchpad will be supported.
