ls -l returns wrong string in Japanese locale.

1. LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8
2. ls -l
3. Linux OS is crappy

Actual Results:  drwxrwxr-x  2 nakai nakai     4096  3&#26376;  8
20:39 CVS

Expected Results:  drwxrwxr-x  2 nakai nakai     4096  3&#26376; 
8&#26085; 20:39 CVS

Additional info:

No such laughs in the proprietary.

coreutils-5.0-39?  Could you try the current version, 5.2.1-3, please?

Also, I've no idea how to try to reproduce the bytes above since I
don't know the date of the file. :-)

Please could you give me something repeatable, like this?:

touch -d "Jan 1 2004" foo
ls -l foo

with either a screenshot, or a dump of the bytes with 'od -tx1'?  Thanks.

Still happens on coreutils-5.2.1-31.
