Description anish 2015-02-07 02:44:23 UTC
Hi,

I am building pyutils in EPEL and for which python-zbase32 is dependency.
Please let me know if you are planning to maintain it for EPEL branches or I will like to co-maintain it for you.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks,
Anish P.

Hello Anish,

I don't see any updates from upstream since 2012, so I don't want to maintain it in EPEL. Plus I don't need this software.

Feel free to own it in EPEL branches. You can comment SCM request below in this bug.

Thanks!

Thank you Christopher, Can you please give me permission to co-maintain it so that I can raise package change request to create EPEL branches?

Comment 3 Pierre-YvesChibon 2015-02-09 13:59:57 UTC
Hi Anish,

You do not need any permission on pkgdb to request a new branch, the most important is communication with the currents maintainers to be sure there is nothing blocking but if you have no answers or (as in this case) you have the green light, you can just go ahead and request the new branch.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 22 development cycle.
Changing version to '22'.
