Description Steve Grubb 2015-02-17 12:29:28 UTC
Description of problem:
In the details section of a guest I wanted to run, it had an error saying "Error starting domain: unsupported configuration: guest and host CPU are not compatible: Host CPU does not provide required features: rtm, hle". The guest worked fine before upgrading to libvirt-1.2.9.2-1. So, I thought OK, I'll just change the CPU. So, in the Processor menu item, I opened the configuration item and checked the box to copy the host CPU configuration. When I apply the change, I get this:

"Error changing VM configuration: XML error: CPU vendor specified without CPU model." Shouldn't it know this? I have a Haswell processor.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
virt-manager-1.1.0-4.git310f6527.fc21.noarch

How reproducible:
Every time
