Description Felix Miata 2015-02-21 18:33:04 UTC
Created attachment 994185 [details]
gzipped: logs, lspci -vv, hwinfo --gfxcard, dmesg

Description of problem:
installation cannot proceed past Welcome/language selection screen

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
anaconda-22.20.1-1

How reproducible:
start installation on 32 bit P4 HT with 82915G/ICH6 chipset

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start HTTP installation via boot.iso or Grub
2.click "Continue" on Welcome to screen

Actual results:
screen goes black except for movable mouse pointer

Expected results:
screen does not go black, allowing installation to proceed

Additional info:
1-tried Koji's 20150218, 20150220 and 20150221 with same results.
2-usefbx didn't help
3-text on cmdline is minimally functional workaround
