Previously, if some task threads were running during the directory server shutdown, a task handle could be freed when the main thread shut down, even though the task thread still referred the task handle. Consequently, the server process terminated unexpectedly during the server shutdown phase. With this update, the main thread shutdown is delayed until the task threads finish completely. Also, checks performed by the task threads during server shutdown have been improved. As a result, the server no longer crashes during the shutdown phase in the described situation.

10 jobs run and not one of these crashes were seen.
