Comment 1 Matej Stuchlik 2015-03-02 09:01:48 UTC
This looks like a bug in python-docker-py, which has the following in it's setup.py:

    'requests >= 2.2.1, < 2.5.0',

F22 contains python-requests 2.5.0 as of now. [0]

This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.

Comment 3 Tomas Tomecek 2015-03-13 06:56:47 UTC
Matej, it's not a bug. Upstream tried to workaround an issue in urllib3:

https://github.com/docker/docker-py/issues/406

Is this still an issue? I can see there is python-requests==2.3.0 available in f21:

$ rpm -q python-requests
python-requests-2.3.0-3.fc21.noarch

$ koji latest-build f21 python-requests
Build                                     Tag                   Built by
----------------------------------------  --------------------  ----------------
python-requests-2.3.0-3.fc21              f21                   spot

That should definitely satisfy the condition:

    'requests >= 2.2.1, < 2.5.0',

Comment 4 Airlangga Cahya Utama 2015-03-13 07:11:17 UTC
I read from https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/python-requests latest build is version 2.5.0-3.fc21 and not 2.3.0.

Using rpm confirm 2.5.0 is installed on my f21.

[airlangga@chaika ~]$ rpm -q python-requests
python-requests-2.5.0-3.fc21.noarch

For now I locked down python-docker-py version to 0.5.3-2 to make fig work.

Comment 5 Tomas Tomecek 2015-03-13 12:48:02 UTC
You are right!

$ koji latest-build f21-updates python-requests
Build                                     Tag                   Built by
----------------------------------------  --------------------  ----------------
python-requests-2.5.0-3.fc21              f21-updates           ralph

Will patch docker-py. The original issue is related to boot2docker, which we don't use (I hope) in Fedora anyway.
