Description of problem: When booting Fedora-Live-Workstation-x86_64-22_Alpha-TC7.iso from a USB stick, boot process hangs at Starting GNOME Display Manager.

xorg-x11-drv-ati-7.5.0-3.fc22

How reproducible:
Always, unless nomodeset is used.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot system

Actual results:

Console gets to Starting GNOME Display Manager, then hang. I am able to switch to tty2 and capture the journal.

Expected results:

Should get to GNOME.

This might be an unrelated goose chase, but the same hang starting gnome also happens in a VirtualBox VM. But the gdm-x-session errors are different.
