Account for new default string encoding in Ruby 2, by forcing the encoding of the qcow magic string. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1198814 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1199224 lib/disk/modules/QcowDiskProbe.rb | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) There are no reproduction steps and I don't see QcowDiskProbe being used anywhere in the code, so I'm at a loss with regard to verification. Is this code used somewhere in 5.3? If so, where/how? Thanks. The probes are called by MiqDisk#getDisk to determine the type of disk file. The problem can be reproduced by fleecing a rhev VM that's in qcow format. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
