Description David Gurtner 2015-03-09 09:46:38 UTC
Title: Red Hat Satellite Restore Procedure

Describe the issue:

Under step 1 in the procedure the backup gets extracted to /tmp

tar --selinux -xzvf config_files.tar.gz -C /tmp

But under step 2 the backup folder exported it /backup

export BDIR=/backup

Suggestions for improvement:

Replace /tmp in step 1 with /backup

Hi David,

David (the writer, David) is currently revamping our Backup/Restore procedures in the book so I am assigning this to him. Potentially possible for 6.1.

Thank you,
Athene
