How reproducible:
Model simple valid process with parallel gateway like in the attachment. You can try to change name or direction of gateway. It will not affect validation.

Actual results:
Red marker appears near parallel gateway.

Expected results:
No marker appears near parallel gateway.

Notice that, the wrong error message is displayed only via red marker in canvas. In the problems view and source view is everything ok. There is no error.
